Dr.Songphan Choemprayong presented a paper entitled, Measuring usage of the printed collection in a non-circulating design library: An evidence-based multidimensional evaluation, at 6th International Conference on Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries (QQML) in Istanbul, Turkey. The conference was hosted by Kadir Has University during May 27-30, 2014.

This research paper is a result of a collaboration project between DLS and Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC). The main objective of this study is to develop measures to evaluate reference collection usage. In addition to reshelving statistics, Dr.Songphan and Mr.Lerchart Thamtheerasathien (TCDC) also included photocopying, scanning, and bookmarking statistics into the analysis.

This project explores an alternative approach to evaluate printed reference collection usage in a multidimensional perspective. This research study is supported by Thailand Creative & Design Center, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, and Human Security Research Cluster, Chulalongkorn University.

Last year, at the same conference, QQML 2013 Songphan also presented a paper on scholarly collaboration among ASEAN countries.
