The Department of Library Science, Faculty of Arts in collaboration with the Information Landscape Research Unit will host a public talk by Dr.Heidi Julien, Professor of Information Science at the University of Buffalo, State University of New York. Interactive Session on “Make More of Your Metadata”

If you are currently organizing information resources in libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions, you are cordially invited to attend an interactive one-day session on “Library Knowledge Organization Systems: Make More of Your Metadata” on November 2, 2018 in Room 501/27-29 and 711 Mahachakrisirindhorn Building. The registration is free but only limited to 30 participants. The session will cover lesson learns from an experienced practitioner and a scholar in knowledge organization in the US and Australia plus an opportunity to learn from each other on applications of knowledge organization systems and standards.
