Our MA program is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) of the United Kingdom. CILIP is the leading professional body for information specialists, librarians, and knowledge managers in the United Kingdom with roots going back to 1877. It is the second-largest in the world and the only one with a Royal Charter. Our students can be ensured that their education is at the same standard as the British universities’ programs approved by CILIP. Such standards are also accepted by many information service agencies in the USA, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, to name a few, thereby increasing our graduates’ employability.

Our faculty members have experience and expertise in a variety of areas relating to information studies and research, namely information services, information behavior, knowledge management in information work, management of information organizations, organization of information, human-information interaction in context, scholarly communication, health, and social informatics, data curation and management, cultural heritage information management, digital repositories, web technology, human-computer interaction, user experience design, learning technology and informatics, information literacy, digital literacy, visual literacy, archives and records management, standards for archives, archival legislation, records and archival professional development, and information and publishing history.

Students will have opportunities to build connections with academics, researchers, practitioners, and experts in the field of information studies through local and international agencies and organization, including the National Library, the National Archives, the Bank of Thailand, the Association for Information Science and Technology, academics in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) like the Bangkok ACM SIGCHI Chapter, and Thailand Creative and Design Center, to name a few.
