The estimated tuition fee per semester is THB 80,000 for Thai students and THB 120,000 for foreign students. These estimates do not include books and supplies, accommodation, health insurance, immigration process, and other personal expenses.
Full and partial scholarship and awards are available from the Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University and from other national funding agencies on a competitive basis. Applying for these scholarships and awards is a separated process. Most scholarship applications required applicants to be accepted students only.

For Academic Year 2019
Students who begin their study in the first semester of academic year 2019 may be eligible for two scholarships.
1. The Graduate Scholarships Program from ASEAN and non-ASEAN countries (Competitive basis)
The Graduate Scholarships Program from ASEAN and non-ASEAN countries aims to support academics and researchers from foreign countries to pursue postgraduate education (both master’s and doctoral degrees) at Chulalongkorn University. Terms and conditions apply. The scholarship covers partial tuition fee, a round-trip ticket, and monthly stipends. Applicants who are admitted to the program are eligible to apply. However, the selection is on a competitive basis. The GPIS admission committee will nominated eligible candidates to the university. For more information, please download the scholarship guideline.

2. The C2F PhD Scholarship (1 position)
Chulalongkorn University’s C2F funding is offering a scholarship for talented, highly motivated, and dedicate students in the PhD program in Information Studies. The applicant must meet the qualifications required by GPIS and have interests in one of the following research areas:
- personal information management/personal digital archiving/personal health records
- research data management and services in social science and humanities
The awardee will be working under the supervision of Dr.Songphan Choemprayong. The scholarship covers partial tution fee, montly stipend, and housing allowance (for a foriegn student) up to 3 years for the recipient entering with master’s degree and up to 5 years for the recipient entering with bachelor’s degree. The awardee will have opportunities to contribute to and become a member of either the Arc of Memory research unit or the Behavioral Research and Informatics in Social Science Research Unit.
