ฟอนต์ TH Sarabun Chula พัฒนาโดยนายศุภกิจ เฉลิมลาภ ผู้ออกแบบฟอนต์แห่งชาติ TH Sarabun PSK โดยความร่วมมือกับคณาจารย์ภาควิชาภาษาศาสตร์ คณะอักษรศาสตร์ เป็นฟอนต์ที่พัฒนาต่อจาก TH Sarabun New โดยเพิ่มเติมเครื่องหมายสัทอักษรจำนวนมาก เพื่อให้สามารถพิมพ์ข้อความที่มีภาษาไทยและการถ่ายถอดเสียงปะปนกันได้โดยไม่ต้องสลับฟอนต์
ฟอนต์นี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการอิ๊งแอ๊ป คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เป็นผู้ทรงลิขสิทธิ์ อนุญาตให้สาธารณชนใช้งาน ทำซ้ำ ดัดแปลง แจกจ่ายได้โดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย แต่ห้ามขาย ยกเว้นขายรวมกับซอฟต์แวร์อื่น สำหรับการดัดแปลงฟอนต์ สามารถกระทำได้ แต่ห้ามใช้ชื่อฟอนต์เดิมและห้ามใช้ชื่อผู้ทรงลิขสิทธิ์และผู้พัฒนาในการโฆษณาฟอนต์ที่ดัดแปลงโดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต
TH Sarabun Chula was developed by the designer of the TH Sarabun PSK national font Mr. Suppakit Chalermlap in close collaboration with faculty from the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. It is an extension of TH Sarabun New that incorporates a large set of IPA symbols so that mixed texts with Thai and phonetic transcriptions can by typed using one single font.
This font is a part of “EngApp” project of the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University.
The copyright of TH Sarabun Chula belongs to the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. The font maybe used, duplicated, modified and redistributed freely as long as it is not sold by itself. The fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded, redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that the reserved font name is not used by derivative works. The name(s) of the copyright holder or the author of the font software shall not be used to promote, endorse or advertise any modified version, except to acknowledge the contribution of the copyright holder and the author or with their explicit written permission.
