Abstract

Studies the occurence of the assertive clause in the initial position of sentences in thai by using the Generative Transformational Framework proposed by Noam Chomsky in the book entitled "Aspects of the Theory of Syntax" for data analysis. Concludes from the study that the occurance of assertive clauses in the sentence initial position is considered to be the preposing of assertive clauses which depends on factors; namely, syntactics which involves verbs, and semantics which involves the meaning of main verb and the assertive property of the assertive clause

ผลการศึกษาอาจสรุปได้ว่า ผู้พูดซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของภาษาไทยเองมีความเห็นต่างกันในเรื่องความเป็นไปได้ในการปรากฎต้นประโยคของอนุประโยคบอกความใหม่ แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม ในงานวิจัยนี้ถือว่าเป็นการปรากฎต้นประโยคของอนุประโยคบอกความใหม่เป็นการย้ายตำแหน่งของอนุประโยคบอกความใหม่จากตำแหน่งหลังกริยาหลักมาอยู่ในตำแหน่งต้นประโยค และเป็นการย้ายอย่างมีเงื่อนไข กล่าวคือ ปรากฎการณ์นี้มิใช่ว่าจะเกิดได้ทุกประโยค ปัจจัยที่มีส่วนสัมพันธ์กับการย้ายนี้มีทั้งปัจจัยทางวากยสัมพันธ์ และอรรถศาสตร์ ปัจจัยทางวากยสัมพันธ์ ได้แก่ ประเภทของกริยาหลัก และส่วนประกอบของกริยาหลักในโครงสร้างผิว ปัจจัยทางอรรถศาสตร์ ได้แก่ ความหมายของกริยาหลักและคุณสมบัติในการบอกความใหม่ของอนุประโยคบอกความใหม่
