Abstract |
Deals with English-Thai transliteration based on linguistic principle. Analyzes the aspect of English loanwords in Thai language. Focuses on words from dictionary entries, newspaper, magazines and different writers. Defines the terms of transcription, transliteration of consonants and vowels and the romanization. Concludes that there are 2 categories; basing on sound and on alphabets. Suggests English-Thai alphabets representing Thai transliteration |

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ ผู้วิจัยมุ่งศึกษาและรวบรวมปัญหาการถอดอักษรอังกฤษเป็นไทยปัจจุบันและเสนอการถอดอักษรอักกฤษเป็นไทยโดยใช้หลักวิชาภาษาศาสตร์ เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการเขียนหรือถอดอักษรคำภาษาอังกฤษที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้ แบ่งออกเป็น 5 บท บทแรกเป็นบทนำ กล่าวถึงหัวข้อวิทยานิพนธ์ ความเป็นมาของปัญหา จุดมุ่งหมาย ขอบเขตการวิจัย วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย และงานวิจัยอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง บทที่ 2 กล่าวถึงคำจำกัดความ ความแตกต่าง และลักษณะของระบบการถ่ายเสียง (Transcription) ระบบการถอกอักษร (Transliteration) และระบบการใช้ตัวอักษรโรมันเพื่อการถ่ายเสียงหรือการเขียน (Romanization) บทที่ 3 เสนอและรวบรวมปัญหาการถอดอักษรอังกฤษเป็นไทยในปัจจุบันของพจนานุกรม ฉบับราชบัญฑิตยสถาน และสื่อสารมวลชนต่างๆ บทที่ 4 เสนอการถอดอักษรอังกฤษเป็นไทยโดยใช้หลักวิชาภาษาศาสตร์ บทที่ 5 สรุปและเสนอแนะงานวิจัยอื่นที่สามารถทำต่อเนื่องได้จากวิทยานิพนธ์เรื่องนี้ |
