Research interests I am interested in linguistic typology and cognitive linguistic analysis of syntactico-semantic phenomena of East and Southeast Asian languages, which include serial verb constructions, causative constructions, resultative constructions, grammaticalization of verbs, and transitivity alternation of verbs. I am currently working on serial verb constructions in Thai and a typological study of resultative constructions in English and four languages of Pacific Rim Asia, namely, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai. |
