International speakers included Professor David Damrosch (Harvard), Professor Karen Thornber (Harvard), Professor Annette Lienau (Harvard), Professor Zhang Longxi (City University of Hong Kong), Professor Baidik Bhattacharya (Center for Developing Societies, India), and Professor Adam Knee (LASALLE College of the Arts). The workshop was attended by 25 junior researchers in the field of world literature and other related fields. Dr Ruohong Li, HYI Associate Director, and Professor Linda Grove, HYI Consultant, also joined the workshop and observed the research presentation session by all participants with keen
