Practicum in the use of words, sentences, registers, and styles in Thai; lexical choices; lexical variation, new coinage; analysis and solutions to the problems in the use of the Thai language in translation work.

2241631 Translation Practicum from a Foreign Language into Thai

Practice in the analysis and interpretation of source texts of various genres in a selected foreign language; selection of appropriate translation types; processes of translating into Thai, and evaluation of target texts.

2241647 Discourse Analysis in Translation and Interpretation   

Basic concepts, theories, and methodology in discourse analysis; its application in translation and interpreting; analysis various text types and various discourses from both of their original forms and their translations; analysis and interpreting of oral discourse in different situations.
