Travel grants

With the support of the ASEAN Studies Center of Chulalongkorn University, we are pleased to offer SEALS23 travel grants for scholars from ASEAN countries to help defray travel costs. As the grants are relatively modest, please also find additional funding to cover your travel expenses. Applicants must be 1) affiliated with an educational or research institute in an ASEAN country; 2) carrying out a research project related to Southeast Asian linguistics; and 3) accepted to present at SEALS23. Applications will be evaluated according to the quality of the abstract, academic potential of the applicant, and the significance of applicant’s research to the broader field.

3. Letter of recommendation from supervisor (thesis advisor/project director/department chair etc.)
