การประชุมรายงานความก้าวหน้าครั้งที่ 1

โครงการ "ภาษาศาสตร์ภาษากะเหรี่ยง" ได้จัดการประชุมรายงานความก้าวหน้าการดำเนินงานครั้งที่ 1 (ปีที่ 1) ระหว่างวันที่ 2-4 กรกฎาคม 2553 ณ ห้วยป่าปกรีสอร์ท ต.บ้านไร่ อ.บ้านไร่ จ.อุทัยธานี โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมทั้งสิ้น 27 คน

The Karen Linguistics Project organized the first report on the progress of its work (during its first year of operations) from July 2nd to 4th, 2010 at the Huai Pa Pok Resort in Tambon Ban Rai, Amphoe Ban Rai, Uthai Thani. There were 27 participants.

ผศ.ดร.ผณินทรา ธีรานนท์ (มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง) เสนอความก้าวหน้าของโครงการย่อย "สระธรรมดาและสระนาสิกในภาษากะเหรี่ยงโป: นัยสำคัญต่อทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการของวรรณยุกต์" Assistant Professor Dr. Phanintra Teeranon of Mae Fah Luang University, presenting her sub-project on "Oral and Nasal Vowels in Pwo Karen: Implications for Tonogenesis Theory"
