Students can select cross-disciplinary approved electives from other relevant faculties such as Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Communication Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Science however consent to enroll must be granted by Italian Section.

2.Honorary Program

Students who wish to enroll in Honorary Program must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.75 in the 1st academic year and have enrolled in at least 36 courses in the curriculum. If a student cumulative GPA is less than 3.75 but higher than 3.50 the consent to enroll must be granted by the Faculty of Arts Administrative Committee.

Students enrolled in Honorary Program must maintain at least a cumulative GPA of 3.60. If students are unable to maintain the cumulative GPA of 3.60 for 2 consecutive term, the student must enroll in Normal Program. The credits from Independent Study courses or Master’s program courses in Honorary Program will remain valid.

Students must select at least 20 credits of Independent Study courses or Master’s program courses approved by the Administrative Committee.
Minor Subject18 credits

Italian majors must select at least 18 credits as their minor subject from other discipline in the Faculty of Arts or relevant faculties.

However, students who take Italian either as their major or minor subject must enroll and complete these 3 General Education (Foreign Language) courses.
