On July 26, 2016, the Faculty of Arts welcomed executives from Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU). Headed by AGU Vice President Naomi Toonoka, the delegates were well-received by the Deputy Dean, Assistant Professor Suradech Chotiudompant, Ph.D., as well as the representatives from the Faculty’s Japanese Section Associate Professor Duantem Krisdathanont, Ph.D., and Assistant Professor Chomnard Setisarn, Ph.D. The one-hour discussion entailed the exchange program between the two universities in the coming semesters including the possibility in increasing the number of exchanges to go in line with both universities’ policies in internationalization. After the meeting, the delegates went on to visit the CU I-House, a new world-standard dormitory for international CU students.
Founded in 1949 and highly regarded as one of the most prestigious private universities in Japan, Aoyama Gakuin University is a Japanese Christian university with its two campuses located in Tokyo and Kanagawa. Among its most celebrated alumni are Hajime Satomi, President of SEGA, and Ryo Morikawa, President of LINE Corporation.
