Dr. Nattanun’s talk about the Language Development of Thai-Speaking Children with Autism

Dr. Nattanun Chanchaochai gave a talk on the language use of Thai-speaking children diagnosed with autism via the Zoom platform on 12th June 2023. The event was coordinated by the research affairs division of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Arts.

The talk began with an introduction to autism, providing a general understanding of this neurodevelopmental disorder. She then delved into the field of linguistics, explaining its relevance to studying of autism. The main focus of the talk centered around the specific challenges and characteristics of language development in children with autism. In particular, Dr. Nattanun Chanchaochai elaborate the unique aspects of language development in Thai-speaking children with autism. The talk ended with Q&A and discussion session
