On Wednesday March 16, 2016, the Faculty Dean welcomed representatives from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Information Center Thailand. Introduced by the Head of the Western Languages Department, Assistant Professor Wilita Sriuranpong, Ph.D., the DAAD team comprising Georg Verweyen, Ph.D., Director of the DAAD Information Center Bangkok, and Antje Streit, Ph.D., a DAAD lecturer at Chulalongkorn University, gave details regarding the long-standing collaboration between the DAAD and the university, especially in terms of scholarships and sponsorships for lecturer positions.
At the moment, the DAAD offers a variety of scholarships for both students and researchers, such as research stays for university academics for up to three months and grants for young academics who wish to continue a doctoral study in Germany.
