The Faculty Dean hosted an afternoon meeting on March 30, 2016, with German Ambassador H.E. Peter Prügel and Attaché Fanny Meusel to discuss the possibilities of further collaboration between the embassy and the faculty. Also present at the meeting were Assistant Professor Wilita Sriurangpong, Head of the Western Languages Department, Assistant Professor Thanakon Kaewwipat, Head of the German Section, Georg Verweyen, Ph.D., Director of the DAAD Information Center Bangkok, and DAAD lecturer Antje Streit, Ph.D. Among issues discussed were the organization of German studies in the faculty, the collaboration between the German Section and the DAAD, and possible future collaborations between the embassy and the faculty, especially in such cultural events as exhibitions and concerts.
