His Excellency Gilles Garachon, French Ambassador to Thailand, was invited to the Faculty’s Sodsai Pantoomkomol Center for Dramatic Arts on June 23, 2016, as an honorary guest to attend the premiere of Une (micro) histoire économique du monde, dansée written and directed by Pascal Rambert, a famous French director. The performance was followed by a casual Q&A session with the director, our Faculty’s expert in the history of economics, Teerapa Pirohakul, Ph.D., and veteran critic Professor Chetana Nagavajara, Ph.D. The session was moderated by Pawit Mahasarinand, Head of the Dramatic Arts Department. With the cast of more than 50 actors, led by Silpathorn artist Nikorn Saetang and our Faculty alumna Sasithorn Panichnok, the play touched on the complicated relationship between economics and the evolution of human society. The performance was running from June 23 to June 25.
