On February 22, 2017, the Faculty staff from the Faculty of Arts joined representatives from the Iranian Cultural Center, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bangkok, to discuss the organization of Iran Day during March 24-30, 2017 at the Faculty of Arts. The purposes of this project are to promote the Iranian culture to Thai society and to cement the relationship between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Thailand. The event will include exhibitions of Iranian arts and crafts, such as paintings, ceramics, delicacies, and carpets and tapestries, accompanied by stand-up poster boards explaining Iranian cultural heritage. A live traditional music performance by Iranian musicians will take place on the first day of the exhibition. Such an event was previously organized before at the Faculty of Arts in 2013. The Iran Day exhibition will be opened to public.
