The overview session about using collaborative annotation tools to help on the reading academic materials.
I would like to invite teachers, instructors, and students to attend the overview session about using collaborative annotation tools to help on the reading academic materials.
The tool that will be presented in the session is Hypothes.is – widely accepted collaborative annotation tool that have been used in many leading institutions. Hypothes.is is a web-based application that users can access by using internet browsers. Then, it is very convenient to use and no need to install any programs on your computers. It supports documents in both PDF and Webpage formats. Hypothes.is provides ability for users to annotate individually, in private groups and in public. By using Hypothes.is, it would help on online learning and for the classes that require readings for discussion.
The session will be included the steps to use Hypothes.is and demonstrate how to use it in real situation.
After the session explaining on how to use Hypothes.is, I would like to also invite you to join the overview of my study of the effects of using collaborative annotation tools on metacognitive awareness to help on the reading academic materials. This session will include the detail of the study and the benefits of this study.
Both sessions are not part of the study; however, after the sessions, if you are interested in the study, I would like you to participate and be part of the study. Please note that, it is voluntary and based on your preference.
You can choose the date and time you’re available in the registration link below. If you are not available for these dates and times, please provide information in the registration link and I will send the recording of the session to you via email.
