“Capturing Scholarly Communication in Southeast Asia: A Bibliometric Perspective” A criticism written by Professor Songphan Choemprayong, Ph.D. was published in a book Library and Information Science Research in Asia-Oceania: Theory and Practice. 

This article introduces the overall bibliometrics perspective that involves the measurement of academic communication in Southeast Asia, academic impact as such. In addition, this article also links the measurement of academic communication and ASEAN policies, along with suggestions on the development of this field of research. This article is a part of a research project that measures the academic cooperation in ASEAN countries, with funding from Suthilak Ambhanwong’s fund, Faculty of Arts Research Department, and New Professor’s fund, and Chulalongkorn University Ratchadaphisek Somphot’s fund. This book, published by IGI Publications, in the series Advances in Library and Information Science (ALIS) Book Series edited by Jia Tina Du (University of South Australia), Qinghua Zha (Nanjing Universiy), Andy Koronios (University of South Australia), and an international committee of judges. The article is then separated into 2 main parts, Theoretical and Practical. This article introduces 16 chapters in research article and criticism.
