On Thursday 23 January 2020, Suraphong Amphanwong, MD visited the Department of Library Science to contribute to Professor Suthilak Amphanwong Endowment Fund as a part of his annual contribution. In this occasion, Assistant Professor Dungkamon Na Pompetch, associate dean of Faculty of Arts, Assistant Professor Dr.Songphan Choemprayong, department chair, and faculty members were present to welcome his visit.
Professor Suthilak Amphanwong Endowment Fund was established in 1983 in occasion of the Professor Amphanwong’s 60th birthday anniversay. The purposes of this fund include:
- to promote study, research, visit tour, training, and conference meettings in relation to library and information science and related issues both in domestically and internationally for Department of Library Science’s faculty members,
- to support research and study towards master’s theses in librarianship, and
- to support the publications in librarianship or other related issues.
