On 19 April 2016, the Internationalisation and Organisational Image Enhancement Unit, Faculty of Arts, invited Dr Georg Verweyen, Director of DAAD Information Centre in Bangkok, to give a special lecture on the DAAD Masters and Doctoral Scholarships and the Humboldt Foundation Scholarship for postdoctoral researchers. Both the DAAD and Humboldt Foundation scholarships are for students and researchers who wish to further their studies and research in Germany. Study and research programmes are available in German and English, depending on the recipient’s choice. The DAAD and Humboldt Foundation Scholarship Orientation was attended by a number of students and lecturers from not only the Faculty of Arts, but also the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Political Science and the Faculty of Engineering.
