Dr. Wachiraporn Klungthanaboon collaborated with Asst. Prof. Dr. Nilobon Wimonsitichai  (Chiang Mai Rajabhat University), Asst. Prof. Dr. Chommanard Boonaree, PhD (Khonkhan University), Asst. Prof. Dr. Sutthinan  Chuenchum (Chiang Mai Rajabhat University), Dr. Sujira Ammaruklert (Chiang Mai Rajabhat University) and Asst. Prof. Salila Srirattanabun to translate the IFLA School Library Guidelines (2nd edition) into Thai. This collaborative translation project was kindly supervised by Prof. Dr. Diljit Singh, Prof. Dr. Chutima Sacchanand, and Dr. Prachak Wattananusit, with the support of the Thai Library Association.

The IFLA School Library Guidelines was developed in 2002 by the School Libraries Section, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)  and the second edition was approved by the IFLA Professional Committee in 2015. The guidelines are intended for information professionals and school administrators in charge of managing school libraries and providing teaching and learning supports to the students and teachers.  The original English guidelines have been translated into more than 20 languages and are available at https://www.ifla.org/publications/node/9512
