Chula Centenary Park

The Park is located in the center of shopping and commerce, and designed as a multi-functional “urban forest”, which serves as an oasis for the residents and visitors of Bangkok wishing to spend quality leisure time in a lush and pleasant environment.

Chula Sports Complex

The Complex is a fully-functional sports facility where students, faculty, and staff can enjoy a variety of sports, both on their own or with a group of friends.

Chula Student Wellness

This is a health promotion center that supports the well-being and provides psychotherapy sessions for students and personnel at Chulalongkorn University.

Chula Health Service Center

Health Service Centre has been providing medical consultation and treatment for CU faculty members, students and employees supervised by doctors from Chulalongkorn Hospital everyday for over 20 years. Located on the 2nd floor of the Chamchuri 9 Building, it opens from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., Monday through Friday (without lunch break).

The Dental Hospital

The dental services and treatments provided include general dentistry, such as tooth extraction, dental filling, scaling and polishing, and tooth implants; as well as reconstructive surgery for children with cleft lip or palate deformities. Services are provided at affordable rates or free of charge, depending on the patient’s coverage.

Co-working Spaces & Libraries

Humanities Information Center

Humanities Information Center is located at Mahavajiravudh building, the Center serves as a major source of reference in the humanities for students, staff, and the public.

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons is a co-working space for students as well as another location for the Faculty of Arts' library. Located on the second floor of the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, it provides a welcoming environment for informal learning, student activities, and recreational activities.

Sodsai Pantoomkomol Centre for Dramatic Arts (SSC)

Sodsai Pantoomkomol Center for Dramatic Arts comprises a highly flexible black box theater fully equipped with sound and lighting instruments including three rehearsal rooms, a lighting and sound control room, a scene shop, a costume shop, a royal reception room, and a foyer.

Apart from regularly functioning as classrooms for classes in the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs, the center is an ever-changing stage for a variety of projects—full-scale mainstage and student productions as well as acting, playwriting and directing showcases. In addition, works by professional artists, local and international, which the department hosts or co-hosts, plus Faculty of Arts’ and Chulalongkorn University’s events . 

With a fifteen-minute walk from BTS Siam station and with hundreds of parking spaces right underneath, the center is in one of the best locations in Bangkok.

Chula Central Library

As Chulalongkorn University's main library, the Chula Central Library, also known as the Office of Academic Resources, holds one of the largest collections in Thailand, with over a million books, 339,000 e-books, 42,000 e-thesis, 16,000 e-journals, 200 databases, 4,000 journals, and a number of rare publications.

Chula Plearn Space

Plearn Space, Chulalongkorn University's first co-learning space, is located on the first floor of the Prem Purachatra Building. The facility, of which name is a combination of the terms 'play' and 'learn,' is designed to support learning through activities and collaboration among students from the same or different faculties. Chula Plearn Space provides small meeting rooms, a stage with a projector, copiers, vending machines for food and beverages, storage lockers, and other amenities. The facility is open 24 hours a day and can be accessed with a student ID card or by scanning the QR code in the CUNEX application. More information is available on the CUNEX application.

Getting around Chula

Chula Shuttle Bus

We provides free shuttle bus services for students, faculty and staff. The shuttle bus service operates all routes Mondays to Saturdays.

CU (Chula) Bike

Students who would like to help lessen the amount of CO2 released into the air can register online, present their identification card, and then pick up the CU Bike card to access the bikes and ride them on campus.

Chula Toyota Hamo

Hamo is a compact electric vehicle provided by Toyota. This service aims to provide convenient and seamless connections to nearby public transportation, such as the sky train, subway, and bus.

Muvmi

This is an on-demand ridesharing service that using fully electric Tuk Tuks to reach small streets in the campus area. Students can request a ride via Muvmi application.

Arts and Culture

The Tai-Kadai Museum

The Tai-Kadai Museum is located in the Maha Vajiravudh Building in the Faculty of Arts, the Tai-Kadai Museum houses clothes and accessories of women of the Tai-Kadai tribe and those of other tribes in the Segon District in the South of Laos. The collected items come from the fieldwork research conducted by Prof. Dr. Pranee Kullavaijaya and Prof. Dr. Theraphan Luangthongkum, who organized the Tai-Kadai Museum Project as part of the celebrations for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 60th birthday anniversary in 1992.

The International Tipitaka Hall

The International Tipitaka Hall on the 2nd floor of the Maha Chulalongkorn Building is one of the most complete collections for the study and research of the Tipitaka Buddhist Scriptures. It originated with the establishment of the Sontana Dhamma Num Suk Foundation under the Patronage of the Supreme Patriarch, organized by Thanphuying Maneerat Bunnag, an alumnus of the Faculty of Arts.

The Foundation presented international Tipitaka Scriptures to the Faculty of Arts in dedication to the Dhamma or the Buddhist Teachings. This is the source of the Tipitaka Buddhist Scriptures, written in different languages and their accompanying doctrines, of not less than 2,000 volumes. It was officially opened on September 20th, 2000. As well as collecting international Tipitaka Scriptures, this place also organizes different kinds of activities, for example, special lectures and discussions on topics related to Buddhism, which are also open to the general public. It also offers a course, “The Tipitaka and the Way of Life” to students

King Chulalongkorn Digital Archives

These digital archives, from writings by King Rama V to foreign publications with reference to His Majesty, have become an important source of information, linkable across global networks and accessible from any part of the world.

Chula Memorial Hall

Chula Memorial Hall is a university office responsible for archiving various forms of documents regarding the history and development of the university, and making the historical information known to the society through various channels including, but not limited to, providing research resources, rotating exhibitions, academic seminars, and radio shows.

Chulalongkorn University Museum

Chulalongkorn University Museum was founded to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the university in 2016, as a place to hold information and exhibits highlighting university’s standing as ‘Wisdom of the Kingdom’. Visitors will feel and understand the pride of the university – a leading higher educational institution of the country that is acknowledged worldwide.

Chamchuri Art Gallery

Chamchuri Art Gallery, a non-profit art and exhibition space for students, faculty members, and artists of all levels, is located on the first and second floors of Chamchuri 8 Building. The gallery has three exhibition halls displaying more than 30 rotating exhibitions each year.

Nitas-Sthan

Nitas-Sthan houses rotating exhibitions of art pieces by renowned artists, and occasional exhibitions by foreign embassies in its 346 square meters area. It is located on the first floor, Art and Culture Building.

Reun Thai (Chula Thai House)

Reun Thai was built in the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the university to promote Thai cultural atmosphere in the community. Thai house was previously a venue for Thai classical music performance by Chulavatid, and an office space for Office of Art and Culture, Chulalongkorn University. It is currently used for special ceremonies and occasions, namely, Wai Kru ceremony and receptions for university’s esteemed guests.

IT Facilities

University's IT Services

We provide various services, for example, Chula Wifi, Microsoft Office, SPSS, Adobe, Antivirus, Student Email, Blackboard, Office365, G Suite, Zoom Meeting, etc, in order to support the university with the aim of placing the university at the forefront of information technology resources.

Faculty's IT Services

Arts students can use computers with free wifi at a computer room for training, studying and doing assignments. Students can consult staff about software and hardware installation as well. There are 2 computer rooms which are located at the 1st floor of Boromrajakumari Building and the 2nd floor of Mahachakrisirindhorn Building.

Information Studies Computer Lab

The Information Studies Computer Lab, located on the 7th floor of the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, provides software specifically for information studies. Students majoring in Information Studies have access to the computer lab for classes and additional training.

Geography Computer Lab

The Geography Computer Lab is equipped with spatial data processing and analysis software. Geography majors can use the lab, which is located on the 7th floor of the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, for classes and extra training.

Conference Interpreting Classroom

Conference Interpreting Classroom is located on the 7th floor of the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building. The classroom is designed for learning and practicing live interpreting during an event.

Smart Classroom

In the smart classroom, students can participate in interactive learning and activities. The space has been designed to promote lively debate and constructive collaboration.
