Admission Procedures

To apply to our program, prospective students are required to:

  Thai Central Admission System (TCAS)
Please register in the Thai Central Admission System (TCAS) system from october 28th, 2024 onward. Visit : https://student.mytcas.com/ (Thai language only) 

  High School Degree
Have completed, or be presently enrolled in their final year of secondary school, the equivalent of Mathayom 6 (grade 12 in the US system or year 13 in the British system); GED or IGCSE as an equivalent study at high school (M6) will be also taken into consideration. For students applying with GED, IGCSEs, IB, or other qualifications from abroad, please contact Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center (https://hsces.atc.chula.ac.th/) for Degree Equivalence Certificate before applying.   English Proficiency Tests
Have attained a satisfactory score on one of these English proficiency tests and one of these aptitude tests, depending on the period of appliance.

1.  English proficiency tests

      • TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) with a minimum score of 95; OR
      • IELTS with a minimum score of 7.0 (Send Score Report via IELTS to Balac Code : 190462); OR
      • CU-TEP with a minimum score of 90. (The original score report issued by Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center must be submitted and sent to the program. For more information, please visit https://atc.chula.ac.th/Main); OR
      • DET (Duolingo English Test) with a minimum score of 130 (Send Score Report via DET to Balac :Chulalongkorn University BALAC, Faculty of Arts)

2.  Aptitude tests

      • SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 480 (Send Score Report via College Board to Balac Code : 6902) OR
      • CU-AAT (Verbal) with a minimum score of 480 (The original score report issued by Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center must be submitted and sent to the program. For more information, please visit https://atc.chula.ac.th/Main);OR
      • ACT (English and Reading) with a combined minimum score of 34
      • ***** Candidates of this round will also have to undergo interviews (No written examinations).

Application Requirements

        1. Applicants do not hold Thai citizenship and have completed high school or passed an equivalent high school standard test or be currently in their final  year of high school (Grade 12 in the US system or Year 13 in the British system).

        2. Applicants must achieve the prescribed minimum score in any one of the following English Proficiency tests:
