Russia: The Most Beautiful Country

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, the Faculty of Arts welcomed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, Yevgeny Tomikhin, at the opening of Russia: The Most Beautiful Country photo exhibition. 43 photos exhibited were taken by awarded photographers of Russia’s annual event, The Most Beautiful Country, a large-scale media project of the Russian Geographical Society, aimed at preserving the nature of Russia and promoting an attitude of care towards the environment. 

The opening day ended with a lecture by His Excellency Tomikhin, entitled Geographical Features of Russia, which was accompanied by more breathtaking photos of the sceneries, people, landscapes, and the flora and fauna of Russia.  The exhibition took place until October 24, 2019.  The event was a collaboration between the Russian Section, The Faculty of Arts, Center for Russian Studies, Chulalongkorn University, and the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Thailand.
