On Friday, January 17, 2020, the Faculty of Arts led by Asst. Prof. Nirada Chitrakara, Ph.D., Associate Dean and Porranee Singpliam, Ph.D., Assistant Dean, welcomed the Faculty members from Tama University. The Dean of School of Global Studies, Professor William Shang, Ph.D. and the Faculty members, Professor Junwoo Han, Ph.D. and Wenqi Zheng, visited the Faculty of Arts to finalize the MoU previously discussed in their last visit early last year and to further discuss potential academic collaborations between the two institutions.
Tama University is located in natural surroundings which attracts both local and foreign visitors. International students can learn practical skills from the internship that comes with the exchange program. Tama University’s main strength is the area of tourism studies. Situated in Fujisawa, Kanagawa prefecture, students enrolling in the university will have a chance to enjoy both the natural environment, as well as small size classrooms that cater to students’ individual growth.
The academic partnership between the Faculty of Arts and the School of Global Studies will personally and academically benefit the students from both parties. The international activities provided will contribute to students’ academic and personal growth.
