Details of the exchange program for AIMS-HU exchange students

– Special Auditing Students (e.g. AIMS-HU exchange students) must take at least 7 classes (10 hours) in a week (90 minutes per class) in order to obtain a student visa. List of courses offered in spring semester 2022 is in the file below.
– AIMS-HU program students
can take Japanese language courses in addition to the AIMS professional
courses. Information for spring 2021 is available from the following link. 2022
course list is not available yet.

They can also apply for courses taught in Japanese if they can submit proof of proficiency in Japanese, and approved by the lecturer in charge of the course.
– Dormitory (single room)

Rent for short-term exchange students (e.g. AIMS-HU program) is different from that of long-term students. Approximate cost is 20000yen to 40000yen per month depending on the availability and facility of the room. It includes utility (electricity, water) and bedding. Hiroshima University will provide more information and ask students’ preference after their admission is accepted.
