Dr. Songphan Choemprayong co-presented a paper entitled “Objectives & key results for active knowledge sharing in IT consulting enterprises: A feasibility study” with Ms. Nattakan Klanwaree, a graduate from Master’s program in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management, Chulalonkorn University at the 82nd Annual Meeting of Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) in Melbourne between October 19-23, 2019.
ภาควิชาบรรณารักษศาสตร์ขอต้อนรับ ดร.ทิพยา จินตโกวิท ในฐานะอาจารย์ประจำ ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2562 นี้ ดร.ทิพยาสนใจงานวิจัยด้านปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมนุษย์และคอมพิวเตอร์ การออกแบบเทคโนโลยีให้เหมาะสำหรับการทำงานแบบร่วมมือ และการออกแบบประสบการณ์ผู้ใช้ อาจารย์มีประสบการณ์ในการสอนและการทำวิจัยด้านปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคอมพิวเตอร์และมนุษย์ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำของ Bangkok ACM SIGCHI Chapter อีกด้วย
Department of Library Science at Chulalongkorn University is pleased to welcome Dr.Thippaya Chintakovid as a new faculty member beginning April 2019. Dr.Thippaya is interested in conducting research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and User Experience Design (UXD). She has extensive teaching and research experience in human-computer interaction area. She has also been a part of leadership team of Bangkok ACM SIGCHI Chapter.
ภาควิชาบรรณารักษศาสตร์ ขอแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสที่ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ทรงพันธ์ เจิมประยงค์ ได้รับรางวัลบุคคลดีเด่นในวิชาชีพบรรณารักษศาสตร์และสารสนเทศศาสตร์ ประจำปี 2561 จากสมาคมห้องสมุดแห่งประเทศไทยใบพระราชูปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ซึ่งจะเข้ารับพระราชทานรางวัลในการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี สมาคมห้องสมุดแห่งประเทศไทย ในวันที่ 21 มีนาคม 2562 ณ โรงแรมแอมบาสเดอร์ กรุงเทพมหานคร
Congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Songphan Choemprayong for receiving the 2018 outstanding library and information professionals award from the Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn. The award ceremony will be held at the Ambassader Hotel Bangkok on March 21, 2019.

At the beginning of 2019, the Department of Library Science is welcoming Dr.Pimphot Seelakhet, a scholar in archives and records management, to join our faculty member team. Dr.Pimphot’s interests include standards for archives, archival legislation, records and archival professional development, and information and publishing history.

Two faculty members from our department, Dr.Songphan Choemprayong and Dr.Sorakom Dissamarn, presented their works at the 20th International Conference on Asia-Pacific Digital Libraries (ICADL 2018). The conference was hosted by the University of Waikato, New Zealand from November 19 – 22, 2018. Dr.Choemprayong gave a presentation entitled “Development of Content-Based Metadata Scheme of Classical Poetry in Thai National Historical Corpus” while Dr.Dissamarn delivered a poster presentation on “A Visual Content Analysis of Thai Government’s Census Infographics.”
