The 82th Annual Meeting of Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T; previously American Society for Information Science and Technology) was held in Melbourne from October 19 to October 23, 2019. This year, the theme of the conference was INFORMATION…ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME, ANY WAY.

Dr. Songphan Choemprayong co-presented at a paper entitled “Objectives & key results for active knowledge sharing in IT consulting enterprises: A feasibility study” with Ms. Nattakan Klanwaree, a graduate from Master’s program in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management, Chulalonkorn University.

Active knowledge sharing is a key to sucess in collaboration among different teams in a company. However, lacking of proper documentation, due to lack of appropriate motivations and incentives, causes the productivity and efficiency of business performance. This study conducted a pilot test on how an IT consuting business used Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) approach as a performance evaluation model, in lieu of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The paper reports the advantages and concerns of implementing OKRs in IT consulting business.
