On 4 June 2026, the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Royal Danish Embassy in Thailand, presented awards for an outstanding short story competition inspired by Pilgrim Kamanita, a literary work by Karl Gjellerup, the Danish Nobel Prize-winning author at the Danish Ambassador’s Residence.

His Excellency Mr. Danny Annan, Ambassador of Denmark to Thailand, together with Associate Professor Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, presented awards to the winners in the following categories:

Outstanding Award – Student Category

“Dreaming of Timor-Leste” by Danai Chatyingyongkun

Outstanding Award – General Public Category

“What a Day!” by Thitaree Chuanpitiwong

Honorable Mention Award – Student Category

วันที่ 4 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2569 คณะอักษรศาสตร์ร่วมกับสถานทูตราชอาณาจักรเดนมาร์กประจำประเทศไทยมอบรางวัลการประกวดเรื่องสั้นดีเด่นที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากวรรณกรรมเรื่อง Pilgrim Kamanita โดย Karl Gjellerup นักเขียนรางวัลโนเบลชาวเดนมาร์ก ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตเดนมาร์ก การนี้ ท่านเอกอัครราชทูตเดนมาร์กประจำประเทศไทย Mr Danny Annan ร่วมกับคณบดีคณะอักษรศาสตร์ รศ.ดร.สุรเดช โชติอุดมพันธ์ มอบรางวัลเรื่องสั้นแก่ผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลดีเด่นและชมเชย ทั้งในประเภทนักเรียนนักศึกษาและบุคคลทั่วไป ตามรายชื่อด้านบน
