APRU students attend a summer class in Thai language

This summer, the Faculty of Arts represented by Dr. Kiat Thepchuaysuk from Center for Thai as a Foreign Language (CTFL) welcomed APRU students to the virtual class on Basic Thai for Foreigners.  APRU or Association of Pacific Rim Universities is a network of leading universities linking the Americas, Asia and Australasia.  Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, the member universities have joined hands in organizing virtual exchange classes to fulfill the needs for foreign exchange programs.  This summer, the Faculty of Arts’ Basic Thai for Foreigners was the only class in Chula that was enrolled by APRU students.  The class on Basic Thai for Foreigners has been part of the program since the start and has been well-accepted by students from different countries.
