Arts Talk XVIII: Publishing in Scopus: A philosophical and practical discussion

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the Department of English, the Faculty of Arts, together with Chulalongkorn University, hosted Arts Talk XVIII, Publishing in Scopus: A philosophical and practical discussion by Professorexperience in publishing with Scopus and A&HCI journals. Supported by Chulalongkorn University, Professor Neidorf, a specialist in Medieval Literature, was a visiting fellow at the Department of English, Faculty of Arts. During his talk, professor Neidorf shared his personal experience and his suggestions on how to publish papers in the humanities in high-end journals. 

In addition to the talk, Professor Neidorf also taught the graduate class on World Englishes and is now co-authoring a philology research paper entitled The Language of Wealhtheow’s Speech with Assistant Professor Nirada Chitrakara. 

Professor Leonard Neidorf received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and his B.A., summa cum laude, from New York University. Before teaching at Nanjing University, Professor Neidorf was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows. He is the author of The Art and Thought of the Beowulf Poet (Cornell University Press, 2022) and The Transmission of Beowulf: Language, Culture, and Scribal Behavior (Cornell University Press, 2017). He is the editor of The Dating of Beowulf: A Reassessment (Boydell & Brewer, 2014), which was named an Outstanding Academic Title by CHOICE, and a co-editor (with Rafael J. Pascual and Tom Shippey) of Old English Philology: Studies in Honour of R.D. Fulk (Boydell & Brewer,2016).   https://scholar.harvard.edu/neidorf/home.
