During August 16-27, 2021, the Faculty of Arts organized ARTS CU Summer Program on Thai Language and Culture (Online) for students from the University of Tokyo. Led by Tsugihiro Shimura from University of Tokyo, this year is the third year for the collaboration but the first year online due to COVID-19 outbreak. Attended by 20 students, the Program comprises lectures on the relationship between Thailand and Japan, workshops and field trips on Thai arts and culture and classes on communicative Thai. Towards the end of the Program, the students presented the results of their studies on Thai language and culture. The topics are according to their own interests, encompassing various spheres of Thai language and society, namely, food, linguistics, marine litter, and performing arts. Even though all the sessions including the sightseeing, were conducted virtually, the students from the University of Tokyo paid full attention to the Program. Their final projects truly reflect their efforts and their interests in Thai language and culture. The Faculty of Arts would like to thank the staff at CASCA and the lecturers who made this online Summer Program happen.
เมื่อวันที่ 16-27 สิงหาคม 2564 คณะอักษรศาสตร์ ได้จัดโครงการ ARTS CU Summer Program on Thai Language and Culture ในรูปแบบออนไลน์ให้กับนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยโตเกียว
โดยปีนี้เป็นปีที่สาม และเป็นปีแรกที่จัดในรูปแบบออนไลน์เนื่องจากการแพร่ระบาดของโรค COVID-19 มีนักศึกษาเข้าร่วมจำนวน 20 คน
กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการบรรยายหัวข้อต่าง ๆ เกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยและญี่ปุ่น การทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันเกี่ยวกับศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมไทย และชั้นเรียนการสื่อสารภาษาไทย ในช่วงท้ายของโครงการ นักศึกษาได้นำเสนอผลการเรียนภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยตามความสนใจของตนเอง ซึ่งครอบคลุมด้านต่างๆ ของภาษาไทยและสังคมไทย ได้แก่ อาหาร ภาษาศาสตร์ การทิ้งขยะลงทะเล และศิลปะการแสดง เป็นต้น
แม้ว่าการประชุมทั้งหมดรวมถึงการเที่ยวชมสถานที่จะดำเนินการในรูปแบบออนไลน์ แต่นักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยโตเกียวก็ให้ความสนใจอย่างเต็มที่กับโครงการ เป็นการสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความพยายามและความสนใจศึกษาภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยอย่างแท้จริง คณะอักษรศาสตร์ขอขอบคุณเจ้าหน้าที่จาก CASCA และคณาจารย์ที่ทำให้หลักสูตรภาคฤดูร้อนออนไลน์นี้ประสบผลสำเร็จอย่างดีเยี่ยม
