วันที่ 7 มกราคม 2568 คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ร่วมกับสำนักพิมพ์ Bookscape จัดงานเสวนา The Power of Language โดยได้รับเกียรติจากศาสตราจารย์ ดร. Viorica Marian ศาสตราจารย์ด้านจิตวิทยาจาก Northwestern University สหรัฐอเมริกา มาบรรยายหัวข้อเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างภาษา สมอง และปริชาน
งานนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากคณบดีคณะอักษรศาสตร์ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุรเดช โชติอุดมพันธ์ กล่าวเปิดงาน และมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัฏฐนันท์ จันทร์เจ้าฉาย อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาภาษาศาสตร์ เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการ
กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการบรรยาย ช่วงถาม-ตอบ และการพบปะพูดคุยกับผู้ร่วมงานพร้อมเซ็นหนังสือ ณ ห้อง 304 อาคารมหาจักรีสิรินธร
On January 7, 2025, the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Bookscape Publishing House, hosted The Power of Language book talk. The event featured Professor Viorica Marian, Ph.D., a professor of psychology from Northwestern University, U.S.A., who delivered a talk on the connections between language, the brain, and cognition.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Associate Professor Suradech Chotiudompant, Ph.D., and was moderated by Assistant Professor Nattanun Chanchaochai, Ph.D., from the Department of Linguistics.
The program included a keynote speech, a Q&A session, and a meet-and-greet with book signing, held in Room 304, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
