เมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2568 รศ.ดร. สุรเดช โชติอุดมพันธ์ คณบดีคณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ Associate Professor Daniel Goh รองคณบดี (ดูแลหลักสูตรพิเศษ) ของ NUS College ได้ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนนิสิตนักศึกษา ณ NUS College มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติสิงคโปร์ (NUS) สาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ โดยมี Professor Simon Chesterman คณบดี NUS College และรศ.ดร.ภาสุรี ลือสกุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิรัชกิจร่วมเป็นพยาน และหลังพิธีลงนาม ตัวแทนนักศึกษายังได้นำชมพื้นที่ NUS College อีกด้วย
NUS College ได้สร้างหลักสูตรที่นักศึกษาจะได้บูรณาการหลากหลายศาสตร์ ทั้งด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ สังคมศาสตร์ และมนุษยศาสตร์ เข้าด้วยกัน โดยการเรียนการสอนมุ่งเน้นการถกประเด็นต่างๆ เชื่อมโยงข้ามพรมแดนของศาสตร์หลากหลาย รวมถึงส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ผ่านการโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนและการจัดทำโครงการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริงในกลุ่มประเทศในเอเชีย
การลงนามนี้เป็นผลสืบเนื่องจากโครงการยุทธศาสตร์สร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยและมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับโลก จัดโดยสำนักบริหารวิรัชกิจและเครือข่ายนานาชาติ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ระหว่างวันที่ 5-7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 และ The First Asean Humanities Dean Summit จัดโดยคณะอักษรศาสตร์ เมื่อวันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม 2568 โดยบันทึกความเข้าใจนี้จะเริ่มมีผลบังคับใช้สำหรับนิสิตนักศึกษาของคณะอักษรศาสตร์และ NUS College ตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2569 เป็นต้นไป
On 26 September 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, and Associate Professor Dr.Daniel Goh, Associate Dean (Special Programmes), NUS College, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on student exchange between the two institutions at NUS College, National University of Singapore (NUS), Republic of Singapore. Professor Simon Chesterman, Dean of NUS College, and Associate Professor Dr. Pasuree Luesakul, Associate Dean for International Affairs, served as witnesses. After the signing ceremony, student representatives also led a tour of the NUS College facilities.
NUS College has developed a curriculum integrating multiple disciplines—sciences, social sciences, and the humanities—with a strong emphasis on cross-disciplinary discussion, exchange programmes, and experiential learning projects across Asian countries.
This signing is a result of Chulalongkorn University’s Strategic Networking Programme with leading global universities, organised by the Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA), Chulalongkorn University, from 5–7 February 2025, and the First ASEAN Humanities Dean Summit organised by the Faculty of Arts on 25 July 2025. The MOU will take effect for students of the Faculty of Arts and NUS College starting from the 2026 academic year.
