**About the Guest Lecturer: Dr Amritesh Singh is an Associate Lecturer at the International Education Institute, the University of St Andrews in Scotland. It is a role to which he brings over ten years of post-doctoral experience of working at top-ranking universities in the world – the University of York, the University of Auckland, and the University of Southampton. His career trajectory, marked by peregrinations across the world (India, the UK, New Zealand, South Africa, and China), has helped him gain a nuanced understanding of diversity and inclusivity in the Higher Education sector, which is reflected in all his endeavours. His research interests are wide, ranging from Bollywood Studies to Critical Pedagogy and Academic English to constructions of gender in early modern England, all of which are informed by his expertise in queer theory.**
