Department of Library Science, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with other library and information science schools in Bangkok metropolitan area hosted a talk series on guides to graduate program in information-related field. Current undegraduate tudents, alumni, and public are all welcome. The series will be led by representatives of faculty members from the Department of Library Science, Chulalongkorn University. Congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Songphan Choemprayong for receiving the 2018 outstanding library and information professionals award from the Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn. The award ceremony will be held at the Ambassader Hotel Bangkok on March 21, 2019.

As a part of Active Recruitment 2019 initiative, the Graduate Programs in Information Studies (GPIS) welcome applicants from selected countries to an early admission process and have a on-site interview in their home countries.

At the beginning of 2019, the Department of Library Science is welcoming Dr.Pimphot Seelakhet, a scholar in archives and records management, to join our faculty member team. Dr.Pimphot’s interests include standards for archives, archival legislation, records and archival professional development, and information and publishing history.
