หลักสูตรอักษรศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต (ปริญญาโท) สาขาวิชาภาษาศาสตร์

ปีการศึกษา 2567

คุณสมบัติของผู้มีสิทธิ์สมัคร

  1. สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาบัณฑิต (ปริญญาตรี) หรือเทียบเท่าโดยไม่จำกัดสาขาด้วยคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมตลอดหลักสูตรไม่ต่ำกว่า 2.5
  2. มีความรู้ภาษาอังกฤษดีพอที่จะอ่านและเขียนงานวิชาการได้
  3. สามารถมาเรียนในเวลาราชการได้เต็มเวลา

วิชาที่สอบ

  1. สอบพื้นฐานภาษาศาสตร์และการค้นคว้างานวิจัย (take-home exam)
  2. ภาษาอังกฤษ (CU-TEP ตั้งแต่ 60 คะแนนขึ้นไป) สามารถดูรายละเอียดและสมัครได้ที่ www.atc.chula.ac.th หรือการสอบวัดระดับอื่น ๆ
  3. สอบสัมภาษณ์

*หากคะแนนภาษาอังกฤษ (CU-TEP) ไม่ถึง 60 คะแนนจะไม่มีสิทธิ์สอบสัมภาษณ์ ขอให้ส่งผลการสอบ CU-TEP ที่ภาควิชาภาษาศาสตร์

คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร กำหนดการรับสมัคร และวิธีการคัดเลือกอาจเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในแต่ละปีการศึกษา สามารถดูรายละเอียดการรับสมัครนิสิตใหม่ในแต่ละปีการศึกษาได้ที่เว็บไซต์ของบัณฑิตวิทยาลัย

หลักสูตรอักษรศาสตรดุษฎีบัณฑิต (ปริญญาเอก) สาขาวิชาภาษาศาสตร์

ปีการศึกษา 2567

คุณสมบัติของผู้มีสิทธิ์สมัคร

  1. สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาบัณฑิต (ปริญญาตรี) สาขาวิชาภาษาศาสตร์ ภาษา หรือภาษาและวรรณคดี โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยตั้งแต่ 3.00 ขึ้นไป หรือสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญามหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาศาสตร์ ภาษาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ ภาษาหรือภาษาและวรรณคดี หรือการสอนภาษา ด้วยคะแนนเฉลี่ยตั้งแต่ 3.25 ขึ้นไป
  2. มีความรู้ภาษาอังกฤษดีพอที่จะอ่านและเขียนงานวิชาการได้
  3. สามารถมาเรียนในเวลาราชการได้เต็มเวลา

  3. เรียงความอธิบายวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาต่อ (statement of purpose) ความยาวไม่เกิน 2 หน้า A4
  4. สอบสัมภาษณ์

*สำหรับผู้สมัครที่สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ให้แนบโครงร่างงานวิจัยที่ท่านสนใจจะทำในระดับดุษฎีบัณฑิต ความยาวประมาณ 3 หน้า A4 มาพร้อมกับใบสมัครด้วย

*สำหรับผู้สมัครที่สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ให้แนบหนังสือรับรอง (recommendation) จากอาจารย์ที่เคยสอน 3 ฉบับมาพร้อมกับใบสมัครด้วย

*หากคะแนนภาษาอังกฤษ (CU-TEP) ไม่ถึง 60 คะแนนจะไม่มีสิทธิ์สอบสัมภาษณ์ ขอให้สามารถส่งผลการสอบ CU-TEP ที่ภาควิชาภาษาศาสตร์

Master of Arts in Linguistics

(Academic year 2024)

Applicant qualifications

  1. Applicants must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree or a comparable degree in any field, with a GPA of no less than 2.5.
  2. Applicants should have a good command of reading and writing in English.
  3. Applicants must be able to study full-time.

Tests

  1. A take-home examination on basic linguistics and research methodology.
  2. English proficiency (CU-TEP) with a minimum score of 60. For more details on CU-TEP, please visit: www.atc.chula.ac.th or consider other equivalent proficiency tests.
  3. Interview.

*Note: Applicants with a CU-TEP score lower than 60 will not be eligible for the interview. CU-TEP scores should be submitted to the Department of Linguistics.

PhD in Linguistics

(Academic year 2024)

Applicant qualifications

  1. Applicants must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics, language, or language and literature with a GPA of no less than 3.00. Alternatively, applicants with a master’s degree in linguistics, applied linguistics, language and literature, or language teaching must have a GPA of no less than 3.25.
  2. Applicants should have a good command of reading and writing in English.
  3. Applicants must be able to study full-time.

Tests

  1. A take-home examination on basic linguistics and research methodology.

  3. A Statement of Purpose, not exceeding two A4 pages in length.
  4. An interview.

*Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree are required to submit three letters of recommendation from their former teachers as part of their application.

*Applicants with a master’s degree must include a draft of their PhD research proposal, approximately three pages in length, with their application.

*Note: Applicants with a CU-TEP score lower than 60 will not be eligible for the interview. CU-TEP scores should be submitted to the Department of Linguistics.
